Gaming board investigators are cautioning that casinos throughout the country could be forced to tighten procedures after an alleged £250,000 scam at a Scottish club.

Four staff at the Maybury Casino in Edinburgh are facing disciplinary action by the firm and could also be banned from working at all gaming halls in the country if they are found to have violated strict rules on associating with punters.

Investigators at the Gaming Board for Great Britain have made the case their priority and are looking into the actions of the staff and also management controls of the pit area.

Jena tribal chief vows to go ahead with gaming - 2004-01-10

A Class 2 gaming establishment - meaning bingo and other types of gaming - could be offered without delay, but the tribe could not host table games or slot machines without a state compact.
