What's the most popular poker variation for home games? "Hands-down, Texas Hold'em is it," said Pete Rizzo, a Las Vegas collector who sells casino and Las Vegas memorabilia through his Web site, www.oldvegaschips.com,

and is also a devoted poker player. He said Omaha Hi/Lo and the standard five-card and seven-card variations have always been popular home games, but these days, thanks in part to the influence of poker on TV, Texas Hold'em rules. It's a
"community card" game, in which five cards are handed out face-up in the middle of the table and shared by all the players.

Panasonic Varicam HD Cinema Cameras Chosen to Capture "The Casino" TV Series - 2004-01-12
Panasonic revealed that its AJ-HD27 VariCam™ High Definition Cinema cameras have been selected to film THE CASINO, a new reality show for
FOX. THE CASINO will be the first Primetime Network unscripted reality series to be shot in its entirety in high definition (HD).

Production by reality king Mark Burnett Productions on the 13-episode series will begin this Spring and air in summer 2004.

The Casino will provide a 24/7, behind-the-scene look at the real-life dramas that unfold at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino after its new owners take control of the business and attempt to bring back it back to its past glory. The series will center on entrepreneurs Timothy Poster and Thomas Breitling whose start-up “Travelscape.com” revolutionized the travel industry.
