Nevada casinos post 1.8 percent fiscal year-to-date gain - 2004-01-14
Five months after the beginning of the fiscal year, Nevada casinos have earned just 1.8 percent more than they did in the same period in the previous year, well below a forecast of a seven percent gain by the time the current fiscal period ends next June.

While Governor Guinn says he's encouraged by moderate growth, the November casino win was up just over four percent, he adds the win, "will need to increase in the coming months to remain positive."
