Group Questions State's Casino Inspection Efforts - 2004-01-14
State gambling inspectors are challenging allegations that they haven't vigorously policed Minnesota tribal casinos and have mishandled several inspection records.

Leaders of a new group named Minnesotans for Responsible Gambling has questioned the efforts of the Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division. The group was founded by David Hoch, who has previously lobbied the Legislature to use state-sponsored gambling to help fund a baseball stadium.

Matt Kobyluck To Run Two Busch Series Races in 2004; Will Also Return To Phoenix - 2004-01-14
Matt Kobyluck, driver of the No. 40 Mohegan Sun Casino Chevrolet on the NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch North Series, revealed plans to run a pair of NASCAR Busch Series races in the 2004 season. He will also return to the NASCAR West Series later this month, going to Phoenix International Raceway to take part in that series' opening race on January 25th.

These three races will be in addition to running the entire Busch North Series season, where he finished second in the series point standings in the 2002 season.
