Millionaire hotelier Earl Hagaman is arguing his case
to purchase a 41 per cent stake in the Christchurch Casino with the Casino Control Authority.
Mr Hagaman wants to buy the 41 shareholding owned by UK-based gambling group Aspinall, and his letter to the authority yesterday is the most recent twist in a fight over its ownership.
Auckland casino operator Sky City Entertainment, and another 41 per cent shareholder in the casino, Skyline Enterprises, have also expressed their interests in buying Aspinall's stake.
