Casino Boat To Bring Gambling Back To Savannah Riverfront - 2004-01-15
Ten years following the last casino boats folding on Savannahs River Street, a new operation is prepared to roll the dice. Three weeks ago, Savannah City Council approved a liquor license for Millionaires Casino, a 187-foot boat capable of accommodating 450 passengers.

Its operating company, MPH Entertainment LLC, has signed a lease with Merritt Dixon III to tie up at the docks he owns in front of the Hyatt Regency Savannah. Opening is planned for March 1.

Two former guests sue Laughlin casino over 2002 biker rally brawl - 2004-01-15
Two Arizona residents are accusing Harrah's Laughlin hotel-casino of failing to caution patrons of "impending peril'' before a deadly biker brawl in 2002.

Kristi Schoenleber and Alan Hendrickson say they were playing blackjack when Hells Angels and Mongols motorcycle club members started brawling early April 27th, 2002.

Two Hells Angels and one Mongols motorcycle gang member died and at least 12 other people were hurt in the melee in the casino during the Laughlin River Run motorcycle rally.
