The tweak comes as the cable channel adds more reality shows, hidden-camera games, video games, casino games and other contests not involving Chuck Woolery or Gene Rayburn. The old name prompted viewers to "think of studio shows, buzzers and bells, and lovely parting gifts," GSN president Rich Cronin told media-tour-attending TV critics, who were soon given their very own ballpoint pens with GSN logos.
So what does Evan Marriott make you think of? The original Joe Millionaire is hosting GSN's "Fake-a-Date" (debuting March 17), in which a contestant dates a single person and an attached person who's trying to (duh) fake him or her out.
