18 Towns Join To Seek Casino License - 2004-01-18
Country Club Hills and 17 other communities revealed a partnership Friday to bid on the state's last gaming license in hopes of developing a casino in the south suburbs.

The proposal includes a revenue-sharing agreement
that would split 85 percent of local casino profits among the 17 towns and 32 school districts, said Anthony Bass, an attorney representing the coalition. Country Club Hills would keep 15 percent of the local share.
