Harrah's enters race for Illinois' 10th gaming license - 2004-01-19
Harrah's Entertainment Inc. and the city of Waukegan, Ill., have submitted a proposal for Illinois' 10th casino license, they revealed Monday.

Harrah's said the proposed casino would help transform the Waukegan region, which has lost 30,000 jobs in the last 3 decades. Waukegan, which is north of Chicago close to the Wisconsin border, has an unemployment rate of 8.4 percent, or 25 percent more than the metropolitan Chicago area.

It is likely that the Anambra crisis is offering some therapeutic relief to some political turncoats masquerading as leaders and genuine contenders to any substantial recognition by Nigerians.

It is even possible that some casino elements see Anambra as a veritable poker game where all they have to do is simply release one card after the other and subsequently play their joker to disorganize their opponents and take away the plum prize.
