Aggravated assault - 2004-01-24
Called to an apartment in the 300 block of W. 24th Avenue for a domestic dispute early this morning, city police encountered a woman who relayed a long story of conflict with her boyfriend.

According to reports, the woman and boyfriend began feuding at a casino and the man continued to assault her when the pair made their way to a Barbeau Street address. During the dispute, the woman told officers the man pushed her face into the snow, kicked her car door and slashed a tire in a discussion of house keys.

When the woman set out on foot to her 24th Avenue apartment, the man reportedly showed up there to punch her, grab her throat and threaten her at knife point.
