Sigma Game Granted Mississippi Approval - 2004-01-27
Sigma Game Inc., celebrating twenty years as a casino supplier in 2004, today announced that it was given approval to sell its latest video reel game equipment to casinos throughout Mississippi. The state's gaming commission notified the company that the final requirement, a 90-day field trial, had been successfully completed.

Approved for use in Mississippi is the company's upgraded "Dallas(TM)" operating system, the underlying technology platform for all its newest game offerings, and its related cabinet. Also granted approval was the company's "Amigo Road(TM)" game, the first in a series intended for the market.

Commission Returns $ 5M To Casinos - 2004-01-27
The Casino Control Commission returned a total of $5 million to all city gaming halls apart from the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

The money was left over from funds used to operate the commission and the Division of Gaming Enforcement for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2003. The Borgata wasn't in operation until July.

The two agencies were authorized to spend up to $64.9 million but used only $59.2 million. The costs of operation are paid by both the gaming halls and various licensing fees paid by employees and vendors.
