Aristocrat Technologies' MKVI Slot Platform Approved in Mississippi - 2004-01-27
Aristocrat Technologies, Inc., a Las Vegas-based supplier of gaming machines and casino management systems, revealed that the Mississippi Gaming Commission has approved its MKVI(TM) slot machine platform.

"Now that we have received this key approval, casino operators in Mississippi will soon have a larger variety of games to place on their floor
and benefit from the same robust slot engine and proven games that are performing exceptionally well in other jurisdictions both in the U.S. and
globally," said Gavin Isaacs, President of Aristocrat Technologies.

Casino executives play cards close to chest after meeting - 2004-01-27
The shutters have gone down at Christchurch Casino with both sides of an unpleasant boardroom dispute saying little following a showdown meeting.

The board met yesterday for the first time since a row broke out between the casino's two biggest shareholders, Skyline Enterprises and British gambling business Aspinall.

Skyline and casino chairman Barry Thomas last year had Aspinall representative Arthur Pitcher removed from the board after discovering the UK company had been in secret talks to sell its 41 per cent stake, which is thought to be worth at least $92 million, to rival Sky City Entertainment.
