Mikohn's TableLink Table Tracking System Gaining Wider Acceptance in Native American Gaming Properties - 2004-01-29
Mikohn Gaming Corporation (NASDAQ: MIKN) today declared that it has been awarded a contract to install its patented TableLink(R) system at Veijas Casino situated in Alpine, California. Under the terms of the contract, Mikohn will install TableLink PT on Veijas' 66 table games. Installations are scheduled to begin within the next few weeks.

"We are very pleased to have been successful in our bid to provide Veijas with our TableLink PT system," said Bob Parente, Mikohn's Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

Five Environmental groups say they'll stand-up to the city of Rock Island, before a new development ruins valuable wetlands.

If Casino Rock Island gets what they want, a piece of land near Highway 92 and Interstate 280 will become a new multi-million dollar complex. Environmentalist say this will have a huge impact on birds and wildlife.

"It'll change everything," says QC conservationist Sonny Stephens. "There will be no spawning areas.....and there will be no place for the birds to roost or have nest made...They'll have to move someplace else."
