A crooked card table croupier tried to con his Plymouth casino bosses just to prove he could beat the system - and lost. Anthony Wayne Lomas's poker scam landed him in front of Plymouth magistrates yesterday after he rigged a game at the Stanley Grand Casino, in Union Street.

He admitted to not shuffling the deck and to having put 'dead cards' back into the pack to enable an unwitting female player to win more hands, possibly collecting up to £1,000. It is believed the woman will not have to pay back her winnings.

At the very end of the 4th quarter a conference call with wall street financiers and interested parties owners of the Mohegan Sun Casino were asked if the tribe would buy the patriots?

After a brief conference table laugh one mohegan leader quipped: wait until next week.

The funny thing is with a phenomenal 4th quarter the Mohegan tribe owns of one of the most successful gaming facilities in the world.
