Shooting suspect arrested - 2004-01-06
After an extensive manhunt, Collin Ceasar, 27, of Eunice, was taken under arrest and charged with attempted first degree murder of a police officer.

The state police have had an all points bulletin out for Ceasar for the past two weeks after he allegedly fired more than three shots into the home of Eunice Police Detective Ronald Papillion.

Ceasar, of 1182 N. Martin Luther King Drive, Eunice, is also a suspect in the armed robbery of truck stop casinos in Eunice and Lake Charles, the theft of several vehicles in the Lafayette area and a Crowley burglary.

Aristocrat Technologies, Inc., Harrah's Entertainment, Sign Games Purchase Agreement - 2004-01-06
Aristocrat Technologies, Inc., a Las Vegas-based supplier of gaming machines and casino management systems,revealed an agreement with Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: HET) to supply
as many as 1,000 video slot games at Harrah's 25 casinos. "This agreement with Harrah's is very significant for Aristocrat," said Gavin Isaacs, Presidentof Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. "It allows us to expand our video slot games throughout Harrah's widespread casino operations and provides
us with the opportunity to supply games to a highly regarded casino operator known for providing innovative games and outstanding entertainment for the player."

Under the terms of the agreement, Aristocrat started installing the first order of games in December 2003 at Harrah's, Harveys, Rio, and Showboat casinos nationwide operated by Harrah's.
Full installation depends upon the initial games attaining certain performance levels.
