Two more arrested for armed robbery in Vinton - 2004-01-09
Two more have been arrested for the Dec. 31 armed burglary of the Best Western and the Lucky Peacock Casino in Vinton, according to Ramby Cormier of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office.
Deputies with the CPSO, with the help of the Eunice Police Department, arrested Eric Bigers, 20, and Kevin Cooley, 22, both of Eunice, and charged them with armed robbery and armed robbery with the use of a firearm. Bond has been set at $150,000 each.
Bigers and Cooley make four that have been arrested for the New Year's Eve robbery.
Collin Caesar, 27, and Blake Lewis, 18, also from Eunice, were arrested earlier this week in connection with the Jan. 5 armed robbery of the Lucky Delta Casino in Vinton, and later they were charged with the Dec. 31 robbery.
