Wynn adds 1,300 suites to plans for megaresort - 2004-02-21 Though Las Vegas' next megaresort, Wynn Las Vegas, isn't expected to open before April 2005, master casino developer Steve Wynn has stated he plans to add a second 1,300-suite tower to the original 2,700 rooms. No details concerning the cost or scheduling of the new tower have been revealed, but insiders indicate that the suites will be larger than the Venetian's, which are the largest "standard" suites in town.

Gambling addict wins a fortune in court ruling against casino - 2004-02-21 A compulsive gambler who lost his business and tried to commit suicide after accumulating huge debts on casino blackjack tables and roulette wheels finally struck lucky in Austria last week.
The country's Appeals Court ruled that Christian Hainz should be reimbursed €499,729 (£336,709) by the operator of two casinos where he claimed that he lost up to €2.5 million (£1.68 million) in a three-year betting binge.
