Woman's body washes up behind casino - 2004-02-22 A passer-by on Sunday discovered a woman's body washed on the shore of Lake Pontchartrain, behind the Treasure Chest Casino, Kenner Police spokesman Capt. Steve Caraway stated.
The woman has blond hair and seems to be 40 to 50 years old, Caraway said. She was found wearing a maroon and black pull-over top and black pants.
Police did not detect signs of foul play, Caraway said. An autopsy is scheduled to begin today. Read the full story at Times Picayune
