Southland casino takes in 9 more towns - 2004-02-22
Nine communities who were at first left out of the Country Club Hills casino plan will get a part of the potential revenue, however in smaller shares than the original 18.

The United Southland coalition last week announced a second tier of revenue sharing that would include East Hazel Crest, Lynwood, Markham, Merrionette Park, Park Forest, Richton Park, Sauk Village, South Chicago Heights and Steger.

Those communities will divide 7 percent of the proposed casino complex's revenue, while the original 18 will divide 53 percent.
