Chips are down for casino fraudsters - 2004-02-22 Radio-transmitting casino chips expected to be released to the market later this year could make life more difficult for gambling cheats.
The chips contain tiny "tags" that broadcast a unique identification code. Not only will they combat counterfeiting and theft, but they could help casino operators monitor gamblers.
