Burswood rolls a $24.1m profit - 2004-02-22 Burswood Limited (BIR) today announced the company was hoping to build on the positive result achieved in the first half of the financial year with continued improvements in operating efficiency and performance. These comments came as the casino group announced a net profit after tax of $24.1 million for the six months ended 31 December 2003, up from the $4.5 million reported in the previous corresponding period.
