Money Flowing into Tama County After Casino Re-Opening - 2004-02-23
Cash and visitors are once again flowing into the Meskwaki Casino, and that's great news for Tama County.

People there say at least five thousand visitors come to the area every day because of the casino. 1,300 people are also back working at the casino.

During the six months the Meskwaki Casino was closed, Tama County had the highest unemployment rate in the state.

New Attraction At Casino Catches Fire - 2004-02-23
Black smoke filled the air above the Hard Rock Cafe casino on the Seminole reservation Monday.

Right after noon, Hollywood Fire Department responded to a fire that broke a waterfall and slide by an outdoor pool. Heavy smoke came from the area that is currently under construction.

Hollywood, Dania Beach, and the Seminole Tribes fire personnel all responded to the fire.
