Atlantic Lottery Proposes Internet Gambling - 2004-02-25 Just a day after the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) revealed its plans to launch an online version of its casino, the move is already being criticized by some influential anti-gambling advocates.
ALC’s defense is that millions of betting dollars are leaving the region via the Internet and online gambling is only for leisure and not for money.
