A Closer Look At Professional Poker - 2004-02-04
I am often asked by my poker buddies, usually in a ribbing way, “What’s it like to be a celebrity now?” Well, to be honest, although my publicity on television is “cool,” I don’t think of myself as a celebrity period. I just see myself as a poker player who has become a spokesman for poker because of my job as commentator on the World Poker Tour.

Ben Affleck competed in the championship event at The Bicycle Casino’s Legends of Poker. I approached him to introduce myself, wish him luck, and thank him for playing on the tour.

Gambling development in deliberation by legislators - 2004-02-04
The Illinois Legislature's spring session is fast approaching, and so is the annual discussion of expanding gambling.

Senate President Emil Jones stated Tuesday he is willing to add more riverboat casinos. Rep. Lou Lang, D-Skokie, said he is about to propose an expansion project that will "jump-start this debate and get it moving."
