R.I. TRIBE REINTRODUCES PLANS FOR RESORT CASINO - 2004-02-06
The Narragansett Indian tribe Wednesday revived plans for a $500 million resort casino in West Warwick, as that town's legislators get ready to introduce a bill to ask voters in November whether they support the tribe's project.

The proposed West Warwick casino would have 3,500 gambling stations and a 1,000-room hotel. Las Vegas-based Harrah's Entertainment, which has partnered with the tribe, would develop the gaming facility.
