Aztar hit with sex-bias suit - 2004-03-01 A former Casino Aztar supervisor is taking legal action against the gaming company for sex discrimination, claiming management retaliated against her after she complained about being pressured to hire large-breasted women as cocktail waitresses and investigated a claim that one of the waitresses had been attacked by a casino manager. For Kings' Maloof, It's All in the Cards - 2004-03-01 Joe Maloof, the co-owner of the Sacramento Kings whose family owns a Las Vegas casino, won a $1 million blackjack tournament this weekend.
Maloof, lagging by $16,000 entering the final hand, drew blackjack with a $25,000 bet to take the winner-take-all event at the Barona Valley Ranch & Casino near San Diego.
