Developer approaches casino about sale - 2004-03-01 Owners of Jumer’s Casino Rock Island have been approached about selling the business and its highly
coveted state gaming license if a proposal for a $92
million relocation to Big Island falls through.
Such a move would be legally and politically complicated. The sale would need approval from the City of Rock Island and the Illinois Legislature, but it could generate tens of millions of dollars for owners of the riverboat casino.
