Investors make Sky City miserable over Darwin casino - 2004-03-13
Large investors concerned the casino operator isn't making a large enough splash across the Tasman, writes Garry Sheeran.
Some of the country's biggest and most successful institutional investors are giving Sky City a tough time about its ruling to purchase the Darwin casino.

They are also getting "stuck into" the sharemarket darling over the poor performance of another Australian investment, the Adelaide casino.

Lobbyist Straddles Hurdle On Casino Topic - 2004-03-13
The head lobbyist for the state tourism organization at the Rhode Island Statehouse is on the payroll of Harrah's Casino as well.

Brian Goldman is being paid 25-hundred dollars a month to persuade legislators to authorize a casino run by the Narragansett Indians in West Warwick. Goldman also has been a longtime lobbyist for the Rhode Island Hospitality and Tourism Association.
