Beau to make buffet fresher - 2004-03-14
Beau Rivage is shelling out $1.5 million to install a new cooking system that will make items offered on
the buffet line tastier and safer.

George Goldhoff, vice president of food and beverage, said the casino has purchased a "cook and chill" system, which cooks food in kettles, then quickly cools the food in an ice bath. The system is mainly found in large Las Vegas casinos, which have the money to pay for the pricey item.

It's a short walk to the casino, where music pulsates as images dance across video screens and the walls are adorned with rock memorabilia. By now it's clear: the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is nothing like the dingy, smoky gambling emporium the tribe formerly operated here.
