Tripsters to travel to St. Croix Casino - 2004-03-18
The Community Tripsters are funding a trip to St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin on Tuesday, April 13, to play the slots and other games of luck. This trip is offered to adults of any age.

The group will be treated to juice and a donut on the bus. The cost of the Grand Casino trip is $5 per person, and includes motor coach transportation, juice and donut, $5 in quarters, and an escort. The coach will leave the Kmart parking lot, across from New Hope City Hall, at 8:30 a.m. and return about 4:30 p.m. A second trip to St. Croix Casino is scheduled for May 17.

Casino Chief Contacts Bangor, Maine, Officials to Push Racino Development - 2004-03-18
The chief executive officer of Foxwoods Resort Casino has composed a letter to Bangor city councilors saying the casino's ongoing interest in developing the state's first racino as part of its partnership with Maine's Penobscot Nation and Passamaquoddy Tribe.

The project would involve bringing up to 1,500 slot machines to the city-owned track located in Bass Park in Bangor, currently the only commercial harness racing track with the needed voter approval to do so.
