Decision delayed on casino course - 2004-03-19
Worries concerning personal financial liability postponed state College Board approval on Thursday of a planned casino/resort management program at the University of Southern Mississippi.

The board has asked for an attorney general's opinion on its authority to approve the program without violating state law prohibitions on teaching gaming.

Delaware gets go-ahead to build casino in Kansas - 2004-03-19
An Oklahoma tribe has finally come up with a city in a neighboring state that is conducive to a gaming operation.

The Bartlesville-based Delaware tribe of Indians is moving ahead with plans to own and operate a world-class destination resort hotel and casino in the Kansas town of Bonner Springs. The announcement comes after the city of Basehor rejected three years ago a proposed casino.
