Ex-Casino Aztar employee suing - 2004-03-02 A former Casino Aztar supervisor has taken legal action against the gaming company, claiming sexual
discrimination.
Suzanne F. Jerger of Newburgh claimed in the lawsuit that management retaliated against her after she complained about being pressured to employ large-breasted women as cocktail waitresses.
She also claimed she was punished after she investigated a claim that one of the waitresses had been attacked by a casino manager.
Jerger filed the claim in U.S. District Court in Evansville last week. Read the full story at Henderson Gleaner
Armed Robbery Suspects Caught - 2004-03-02 Two suspects are in custody after allegedly robbing a Sioux Falls casino at gunpoint. At about 8:15 Tuesday night, police say two black men went into the Royal Flush Casino on east 8th Street, held up the place and ran down an alley to get away. But they didn't get very far and they weren't gone long.
Two hours after the robbery two men were sitting in the back of a police car and the stolen money was recovered. Police report some of the loot was dropped in the alleyway as 24-year-old William Reath and 22-year-old Fadi Zakaria made their getaway. Read the full story at KSFY
