Green impressive in pro-am round - 2004-03-03 Nathan Green limbered up for the Scenic Circle Hotels Classic with a 4-under-par 67 in the Otago Daily Times -Dunedin Casino Classic prom-am at Chisholm Park yesterday.
Green (28) shot six birdies to lead his team to fourth place in the pro-am in which Otago business and sporting personalities mixed with the New Zealand and Australian professionals.
The New South Welshman would have scored even more impressively had he not come to grief with a double bogey at the 14th hole.

Broken nose for Patriots: NT Washington signs with Raiders; Who might replace him? - 2004-03-03 Ted Washington spent some of Tuesday night at a casino, but he wasn't the only one rolling the dice.
The Patriots were too, by not locking Washington up with a contract before free agency. Yesterday they paid a heavy price, losing their run-stopping nose tackle to the Raiders on the first day of free agency.
