New Legislation May Garner Oklahoma Casino Operations Greater Gain - 2004-03-30
Gaming companies, including those that make electronic bingo machines and other casino supplies, have won the jackpot.

The state Legislature's recent passage of a measure that permits gaming machines at horse racetracks is all bullish for several key players in the gaming trade, analysts claim.
That number -- over 20,000 -- will double within the next 18 months, observers insist, as tribes rush to add floor space to their casinos to accommodate the extended gaming permitted in the state.

Endorsers of a downtown riverboat casino intend to be a player if Iowa lawmakers clear the path for expanded gambling in the state.
