Gambling bid poised to go against grain - 2004-03-30 If a proposal to make gambling legal in Arkansas makes the ballot and passes, the development would be a stark overturn from former attempts to introduce an amendment to the state constitution to permit casinos.

Caesars to put $300M of notes on market - 2004-03-30 Caesars Entertainment will sell $300 million worth of notes to compensate for a portion of debt outstanding under its existing lines of credit, the company revealed Tuesday.
In Tunica, Caesars' operations feature Bally's Casino Tunica, Grand Casino Tunica and Sheraton Casino and Hotel, which blend to hire over 5,000 people. It is the 13th biggest employer in the Memphis region. Read the full story at Memphis Business Journal |
