Emigh's proposal, which would permit businesses that serve liquor to operate casino-type gambling, legalize lotteries and games for charities, has won authorization for its popular name and ballot title from the attorney general's office.

Caesars to put $300M of notes on market - 2004-03-30
Caesars Entertainment will sell $300 million worth of notes to compensate for a portion of debt outstanding under its existing lines of credit, the company revealed Tuesday.

In Tunica, Caesars' operations feature Bally's Casino Tunica, Grand Casino Tunica and Sheraton Casino and Hotel, which blend to hire over 5,000 people. It is the 13th biggest employer in the Memphis region.
