California Casino Decontaminating After Flu Like Illnesses - 2004-03-05 Health officials stated a highly-contagious virus is at fault for flu-like illnesses at the California casino downtown. They say the virus lives on surfaces such as door handles and slot machines for up to a month.

Masquerade benefit to aid health center - 2004-03-05 The La Maestra Community Health Centers is having its seventh yearly Casino Night & Masquerade benefit March 26 at the La Mesa Community Center.
The nonprofit center consists of eight primary health care clinics that service low income and medically underserved county residents. Proceeds will benefit the El Cajon center's new dental clinic, set to open in April. Read the full story at San Diego Union Tribune
