Windsor Casino Employees Strike for Higher Wages, Benefits, CBC Claims - 2004-04-03
Casino Windsor, an Ontario gaming venue, closed overnight after over 3,000 employees went on strike for new pay and improved advantages, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported.

"Casino Windsor unionized workers have chosen to strike," a notice on the casino's Web site reported. "As a result, Casino Windsor will be closed for business until an agreement can be reached and ratified."

Fallsview Casino includes new twist to gambling - 2004-04-03
The Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort will open to the public June 10, just two years and 10 months after ground was broken for the colossal venture on Murray Hill overlooking the Horseshoe Falls.
And the majority of people will be paying a visit to the Fallsview resort, if not to patronize the 150 gambling tables and 3,000 slot machines, then merely to enjoy the sights, according to projections. Combined attendance for Fallsview and Casino Niagara is intended to amount to at least 11 million in the new facility's first year of operation, said Larry L. Lewin, president and CEO of Hyatt Gaming Services, which runs casinos globally.
