Cecil board favors no slots in county - 2004-04-07 Reversing a vote issued last month, the Cecil County Board of Commissioners voted 3-2 last night to contest casino-style slots in their county.
The vote came after foes of Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr.'s slots measure packed the commissioners' chamber insisting that big-time gambling not be allowed in the county.
