Casino plans move forward - 2004-04-07 One of the latest plans revealed for the waterfront on St. Simons Island has passed its first hurdle.
The Glynn County Commission Finance Committee agreed Tuesday to back a request for additional work on a plan for a new St. Simons Island Casino.
Brunswick architect John Tuten, employed by the county to work on the new venue, offered a plan to the committee that would have new amenities included with the old red-brick Casino rather than building a whole new one. Read the full story at The Brunswick News |
